Dust Hog Joins Fuse Alliance
Fuse Alliance, a Member-owned organization of professional commercial flooring contractors, announced today that Dust Hog has joined the network as a new supplier. Launched last fall, Dust Hog is expanding its distribution network throughout North America to help mitigate jobsite dust, one of the construction industry’s greatest challenges.
“The Dust Hog Pro is a versatile and affordable dust mitigation solution, and we’re excited to offer this resource to the Fuse Alliance membership,” said Geoff Gordon, executive director of Fuse Alliance. “Our members work with subfloor and ceramic materials that generate dust, and this simple effective tool will protect installations and help maintain and cleaner and safer jobsites.”
Invented by a professional contractor, the Dust Hog helps protect installers and HVAC systems from airborne particulates and is in compliance with OSHA respirable silica dust safety regulations. Manufactured in the United States, the field and independent laboratory tested tool is made of high-visibility, rugged, polypropylene plastic. The Dust Hog utilizes proprietary Vortex Suction Technology™ to create a high-velocity, circular air current throughout the mixing container. Its patent-pending design has been specifically engineered with dual intake ports extending below the container rim, greatly enhancing vacuum suction performance. The Dust Hog easily fits on 1-, 5-, 30- and 50-gallon pails and drums for mixing self-leveling underlayments, repair patches, mortar, joint compound, and other powdered materials on commercial and residential jobsites.
“We are delighted to provide Fuse members with effective dust control tools and procedures at a time when indoor air quality is an important focus in commercial interiors,” said Scott Banda, chief commercial officer of Dust Hog. “We are thankful to the Fuse team for the opportunity be part of an organization that continues to elevate the commercial flooring industry.”
